PASSATO/ Goldrake – Atlas Ufo Robot
Goldrake ha rappresentato e rappresenta la leggenda:è stata la prima serie robotica ad essere vista in Italia ( battendo di poco Danguard). La serie fu trasmessa per la prima volta il 4 Aprile del 1978 alle ore 18.45, all’interno della trasmissione ”Buonasera con..”. La Rai acquisto’ i diritti di Goldrake sperando di ripetere il grande successo avuto dalla serie in Francia, trasmessa con il buffo nome di ‘Goldorak’. Il risultato fu a dir poco clamoroso: scoppio’in Italia la Goldrake-mania, l’intero paese fu invaso da fumetti,libri,gadgets,adesivi,tatuaggi,trasferelli, proiettori,teli da mare,doposci,Ovomaltina(se berrai Ovomaltina diventerai forte come Goldrake…ehh ehh)(figo!ndPK), pupazzi, maschere di carnevale e chi piu’ ne ha, piu’ ne metta, tutti recanti il simbolo del mitico robot di go Nagai. Gli indici di ascolto salivano alle stelle quando Goldrake compariva sugli schermi, mentre il fallimento di un’interpellanza parlamentare per eliminare Goldrake, segnò il definitivo trionfo della produzione giapponese.
INFORMAZIONI GENERALI:
Come detto la serie viene presentata in Italia con il titolo ‘ATLAS UFO ROBOT’ ed il robot Goldrake. In origine, in Giappone, il suo nome è Grandizer, mentre in inglese viene tradotto con Grendizer. La serie televisiva si sviluppa in 74 episodi, anche se in Italia ne sono stati trasmessi soltanto 71 (mancano il 15-59-71 per l’esattezza). La Francia è l’unico paese in cui la serie è stata trasmessa per intero. La prima serie è composta da 27 episodi,la seconda da 47. Autore della serie è il mitico Go Nagai, il disegnatore dei primi 48 episodi è Kazuo Komatsubara, mentre delle rimanenti puntate Shingo Araki (il character design dei Cavalieri dello Zodiaco ). La serie è stata prodotta tra il 1975 e il 1977. Curiosita’: questo cartone fu realizzato su insistenza della Bandai, la stessa suggerì a Go Nagai di fare le gambe del robot più tozze rispetto a quelle dei Mazinga, in modo da facilitare ai giocattoli il mantenimento della posizione eretta.
